Computers are great, I like being on computer, typing and using social media on the Internet. There are a few things that my computer has that I use, to make life easier. some of these are tools that are on my computer are basically improvised and the reason for doing what I do on computer is to communicate and create good educational content.
In this article I will explain a little bit more about computers and why I think its very easy to be fabulous on computer when you know how it all works and what goes where to create what ever it is you want to create.
The first thing I needed to understand was how to use the basic tools on most computers. The first thing I needed to master was an e-mail so I could send and receive messages over the world wide web. Next I needed to seek out education so I could receive one to one help, and clear instructions on what went where, this included the various tools I enjoy using today not just to create but also to document and give my life more of structure, things like calendars or excel documents.
Luckily here in London there is plenty of places to get educated about computers.
If you are just starting out, a library here in London was a great place to start, because one you have access to computers and two they had some special classes there that got my education rolling. Since my curiosity about computers I have graduated in Media and Language, well my own language but still a degree for me is a degree, and if anything this made my family very proud of me.
My father died recently and he was great on computers, he was very proud of me getting a degree and we spent hours on Skype talking about computers which I miss very much, he was a great man and taught me a lot of stuff in the eighties when computers first came out. Since then computers have changed thanks to the introduction of the Internet.
If you want to succeed on computer always make it a point to decide wisely and here are some useful tips in establishing your computing mindset.
Knowing how the software works and mapping between the navigation on your computer will really help you work faster. In your job you will use some documents more-so than others, if you are looking for a job like me you might be looking for ways to improve the aesthetics of say things like CV’s or just generally keeping your computer neat and tidy by filing things and constantly going through files adding them to trash. By doing this trust me you too will feel fabulous about computers, its not easy though so get going.
When it comes to the Internet there are many things to consider and mastering all of them can be very helpful. For example which browser should I use for each task, which one is the fastest, what things should I be mindful of in the settings and updates of these browsers. Which search engine should I use, where is the best place to network safely so I can invite my friends and family. What music do I like and where can I find that music? What pictures draw my attention and more importantly which pictures do I think other people will like and make them smile or feel happier than they already are?
Computers have so many scientific variables another fundamental thing about the computer popularity congruent with the influx of science and technology we carry around with us everyday. Gadgets have gotten so small they fit in our pockets, which means we can go outside instead of stuck indoors on computer.
The problem with this is engagement, understanding this from what we know about technology outside and how people spend so much time looking at rich media like smart phones provide or the power of images, in relation to the indexical words read in traditional books is something that although seems fabulous always seems necessary. Take books, magazines, banners and advertisements these take our attention and leave an impression, well likewise so does computing and Internet usage.
Try to be different and make the most out of these useful tips in establishing your computing mindset and if you can, enjoy your spectacular online success.
The computer mindset requires time and understanding, knowing the basic forms of communication are great, you really do not need to understand the science, however I do like the science and miss the training because it was very good and I have Cisco Netcad Academy to thank for that.
Connecting your computer again is something you will want once you get your own computer, computers have all types of leads and tools, things like routers and printers. Understanding all these things begins from the telephone wire, if your mobile phone connection or dongle device is what you use then this really does not matter to you unless of course you want a faster browsing experience on the Internet.
Again understanding how the information of data inside the computer is transferred again does not matter, but as long as you know someone who does during times of need then you should be fine. All businesses Internet cafes and home owners with computer access need help troubleshooting these types of problems, knowing the science and the OSI layers for example will help you understand the maths and science of these things, but really they are not necessary right now, since you are reading this article on computer.
As a rule of thumb, most computer people simply follow the crowd, but successful computer users make up their own minds up what things they are going to do.
Some tools that can help crowd participation when using computers are speakers because say for example you are on a live webinar then everyone who is using the same computer can hear what is being said. The realty is when you go into a public place you will not have this luxury, when you are at home creating content it is the same basic assumption, you communicate with the computer.
The great thing about these communication devices just like the phone or the VIOP communications on your computer device, is that you can communicate one to one or in group chat, on webinar for example and share your opinions and experience, this is one of the reasons why I am proud to say I am fabulous on computers.
This is partly becuase not that I want to seem big headed or anything, I just want you to experience and understand a similar feeling of being fabulous. Your fabulous, right? were all fabulous. I know its not about what I know, we all know that the results and figures are what makes an impression in a career, however having fun and developing – then doing something you love is also very appealing to me and over half the computer world.
The transference of thought through the extensions of the computer and the connections we bind from the influx of data can be quite confusing and at times debilating, this is just one thing I would note. Spending the time to fragment and delegate tasks as well as get up, move about and see people face to face is good, and I am also aware of the dissapointments. Many people thanks to computers have met nice people and gone out and done nice things, this has not been my experience but I do still feel fabulous about using a computer. Now I know it will not be the be all and end all of the future career becuase I am well aware of the risks, you think one thing then experience another, you spend enough time consuming the variables and develop a strong beleif that you can have faith in the right decsions, but being let down or not getting regular work rest and play is very silly.
Thoughts are like muscles, the ones you use the most will grow to become the strongest. Work on the thoughts you want to develop and focus on them regularly, since it has the tendency to become action, action become habits, and habits determine results. The muscles you use on computer outside of the brain and the senses used for the experience of in the tactility of the fingers, as you type or press the button on the camera and video player, these muscles get lots of exercises, especially if you partake, read a particpate, one thing I am blunty aware of is most people these days as I am sure may happen to be later on in life become passive audiences, the computer gives me the ability to create, so I create and do not see anything wrong with this, it has helped me, so I am 99% positive it will help you too.
The key is that the mind drives everything you do in your life and using your computer when computing is no exception. The mind experiences a lot of things and the media attention brings decisions that need to be made in the head active participation will cultivate a deeper understanding of any topic, airing views might not be the most counterproductive but does help in understanding and the great thing is an impression is left where poeple can go back and see what it is, how you progressed and how it all came to be.
You want the first impression that people have of you to be a good one, so make certain that your email and your instant messengers are professional and let people know that you are serious about your computer exploits.
The e-mail has many different options, being great on computer isn’t always in your signature because it is not always possible to send an email with your signature, or add your latest blurb on social media, but the fact that you can retrieve an e-mail address of someone you wish to communicate with is big deal, still in 2011. Being fabulous at this is not something I am ever mindful of, although I do like to say stuff. Sharing and communicating can be thoughtful or off the cuff, it really does not matter to me, just as long as it all makes sense.
So I will briefly end on this, organising the whole structure of what goes where and why I have needs to do what I want to do, in order to solve problems or help people overcome the hurdles they maybe experiencing right at that given moment is fabulous. I think the Internet despite the fall backs and the problems you will face on your own journey of computers and putting the necessary parts of the puzzle together far outweigh the struggles and the great news is there is always hope just Google what you need and get back to me if you think I am wrong. There is no right way or wrong way and thanks to spell checkers there is no reason to get it wrong. We all understand the scientific basics of computer but not all of us understand the long term effects, these are future things that I stay excited about and hang on in there at being fabulous on such a broad topic as computers.
